I’m Kim Reynolds – a playwright, a freelance writer and a grieving mum looking for the daughter I lost.
Just trying to figure this life after life stuff out.

I am crying, crying, dear Mama —
I don’t see your name anyplace on this Blog, so I won’t mention it here.
I’m one of your MFA buddies, one of the “mature learners” …
Your unbelieveable courage in giving us the gift of these words
Thank you, thank you

Thank you for your warm words. I find I can (finally) allow myself to hear the kindness of others now that a few months have passed. It feels good, like something has broken open and I can finally speak it.

PS: I wasn’t really trying to obscure my identity. I’m a techno-idiot and I wasn’t sure how to edit it once I created it, but I think I figured it out. Did I?

Me too. The only thing I know to do is keep putting one foot in front of the other and hope it all takes me somewhere that makes sense.

Did you lose somebody close to you?

If you go the archives, there are a series of stories about my daughter, in the picture here, who died on the 29th of August, 2011.

Hi. I found your blog after you stopped by mine. I enjoyed getting to know more about you and your daughter by reading some of your posts. It seems clear that she was beautifully mothered and so very loved. Your ability to convey your experiences makes her life and the grief at it’s loss palpable and my heart aches with you. Sending love your way.
